FEAR OF FAITH — SYNTRUM

The mission resource: essence of those who never returned.

Officially, SYNTRUM is the essence recovered from those who never returned from the bunkers — the reason cloned soldiers keep raiding cursed WWII bunkers. Every mission is framed around recovering it.

What is officially confirmed

  • What it is — the essence of those who never returned (official description).
  • Why squads raid — expeditions exist to recover SYNTRUM (official mission framing).
  • Where it comes from — cursed WWII bunkers, the game's procedural expedition sites (official).

Missions, the extractor and the guiding sphere

Missions have a current mission objective, and an official SYNTRUM extractor exists. In 0.05.008, the guiding sphere was fixed so it no longer heads only to the SYNTRUM extractor while ignoring the current objective; it was also fixed to stop entering dead ends or passing through walls. See the Extraction guide for the official mission-exit boundary.

What is not yet confirmed

The exact gameplay economy around SYNTRUM — how much each run yields, extraction rules, what it buys in the upgrade loop, and any values — is not officially published. This page will be expanded only when official information defines those details.

Current version: 0.05.008. This page intentionally avoids inventing a resource economy or extraction rules.
